Gemcom GEMS 6.2 brings you across-the-board improvements, performance gains, major module upgrades, and many of the usability enhancements you have asked for.
Performance - Biggest Improvements Yet
GEMS new compressed block model reduces dataset size by 10 to 100 times. That means large block models load and display many times faster. In addition, point and point area operations are faster and improved blastholes selection permits much quicker loading.
Geostatistics - Our Showcase Feature
This completely renovated module features an easier, more intuitive interface, interactive variogram maps with lag slider, significantly enhanced graphics capability and elements to increase statistical insight and save you time. Basic statistics is also greatly improved.
Updated Toolbar Icons
Every toolbar icon has been renovated to have higher definition and stronger colours to make them more vibrant and recognisable.
Usability Enhancements - We’re Listening
GEMS 6.2 adds many of the smaller - but no less important - tweaks and extensions to existing features you have all been asking for:
- Block statistics - min, max, mean, standard deviation, etc.
- Two new block display types: Skin and Point Cloud.
- Enhanced visual sub-cell display for block models.
- New Help system with improved searching and updated content.
- Gemcom Whittle™ Import/Export improvements.
- New import capabilities for acQuire databases.
- Workspace locking now extended to all workspace types.
- Publish data extended to more workspace types.
More Capability For Less: Several tools and functions that were separate modules are now included in the GEMS Core system.
