Testing has indicated measurable improvements to performance and memory management on Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Before you upgrade, make sure that your hardware drivers are compatible with Windows 7. In general, Windows Vista® drivers have shown to be compatible, although dedicated Windows 7 graphics drivers are strongly recommended for maximum compatibility.
