This position has an internal client portfolio which includes two of Gemcom Software’s product Business Units being the Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) and the Minex Business Unit (MBU).

Collaboration, time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Job Purpose:

The Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for identifying, evaluating, and recommending marketing opportunities consistent with BU’s sales objectives. This includes managing BU collateral, creating marketing campaigns and providing pre- and post-sale marketing support within the BU.
In developing objectives and strategies for the overall effectiveness and execution of marketing events the incumbent needs to ensure that the projects are managed and executed according to marketing plans that have been developed with the intended purpose of maximising company exposure, generating sales leads and assessing ROI of marketing programs.

Critical Tasks:

• Assist in the creation of BU marketing collateral.
• Maintain library of BU marketing materials.
• Assist in development of product videos.
• Maintain InSite marketing page on SharePoint and assist in updates to appropriate sections of website.
• Coordinate translation of marketing and sales materials to support local languages.  
• Drive customer reference program for BU.
• Work across BU to source and secure customer testimonials, including press releases, quotes, success stories, print and video case studies and sales references.
• Work with BU Product Management and Gemcom’s Corporate Marketing team to establish a timeline of marketing deliverables for each product release and ensure they are kept on track.
• Develop direct marketing campaigns and materials to generate product interest and demand for BU. 
• Manage and grow customer and prospect lists.
• Develop annual marketing plan and budget in alignment with the BU’s fiscal sales objectives and Corporate Marketing’s initiatives.
• Manage event logistics for the BU (trade show, conference, seminar, webinar, user group meeting, etc).   
• Develop innovative marketing strategies, set goals and measure results.
• Use commercial mining resource databases to identify market data.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential requirements for the role are a Bachelors or Associates Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business. excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both written and verbal, strong business and technical writing experience, excellent attention to detail and effectively manage priorities, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Adobe Acrobat Professional, and InDesign in a Windows environment experience and strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task.

A minimum of 3-5 years B2B marketing experience with software, services, or related company, a strong understanding of business marketing, demand generation, branding principles, creativity and printing process. The ability to edit and create HTML emails for direct marketing campaigns and experience with the use of digital cameras and video cameras.
Additional language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Chinese or Russian), Photoshop, Dreamweaver experience and mining/knowledge would be highly desirable.
