Gemcom will be hosting a a FREE Gemcom MinexTM 6.1 technical showcase on Friday, 2 March 2012 in Beijing.

The seminar will focus on updated functionalities for Open Pit mining as well as new Underground features now available in the latest release of Minex 6.1. You will also see first-hand, all the new underground tools within Minex including the new Underground Mine Design and Reserves module.

Underground Mine Design and Reserves Module

With more mining occurring underground, Minex 6.1 gives mining engineers the tools they need to accurately calculate reserves and develop effective mine designs.

  • Utilise mine design tools specifically developed for underground mining of coal and other relatively flat lying ore bodies.
  • Create detailed underground mine designs using a set of rich and interactive tools which provide instant visualisation of your design as it progresses.
  • Quickly and easily produce different mine design options, allowing time for accurate technical evaluation before committing resources.
  • Save time by visually creating libraries of common panel layouts which can be stored for use in future mine designs.
  • Rapidly generate reserves for each panel in the mine design directly from your gridded seam model.

Whilst  the seminar will cover the new underground features in Minex 6.1, there will also be valuable information for Open Pit miners about the updated functionalities and new features. We strongly encourage you to attend this event as it will encompass many of the important updates in Minex 6.1.

If you are interested in attending, please email Summer Chen (schen@gemcomsoftware.com) before 12 February 2012.
