AustralAsia has recently celebrated yet another office opening in Almaty, Kazakhstan on June 24th. It was a great day of sun and celebration, and proved to be an enjoyable time for everyone involved, particularly for the team who spent weeks in advance translating and organizing materials for the event! Kicking off the day with a short seminar on Gemcom’s products, the info session was highlighted by speeches by country manager Zhanash Sultanova and Product Specialist, Timur Aubakirov.

Andrew Pyne (VP, AustralAsia) flew to Almaty to officiate the opening, and joined fellow team members, Zhanash, Timur, Tatyana Tomina (Account Manager), Vladimir Kroupnik (Account and Sales Manager) and Alexey Komlev (Product Specialist) in celebrating the momentous occasion.
The new office in Almaty will help the team in Kazakhstan service our clients in the Central Asian region, and be a central point of contact there. It will now be easier to contact the team and obtain information, and adds to Gemcom’s growing presence in the area. We are very excited to be expanding into such an exciting part of the mining world, and look forward to continue working with the local clients on a much closer and detailed level than before.
