Welcome to Gemcom North America
 Gemcom‘s North America sales and support team continues to grow in order to better serve our rapidly expanding user base. This year, we have added seven new talented engineers and geologists to our technical teams based in Toronto, Vancouver, and the USA.
As part of Gemcom‘s University initiative, we have expanded our commitment to Universities and Colleges by providing software, teaching assistance and expertise to mining and geology programs in Canada, the US and Mexico. More students are receiving hands on experience using the same ―state of the art software tools that you use in your daily jobs.
The North American User Conference held April 14-18 in Vancouver was our biggest ever, and by all reports, our best ever! We were very pleased to host 76 customers in a beautiful setting to present an overview of Gemcom‘s future direction and to give a taste of the exciting new software developments on the way. In addition, attendees were treated to a wide variety of outstanding user presentations , all providing new insightful ideas on how the software can be used to solve real world problems.
We will soon announce the date and venue of our next User Conference planned for the Fall of 2009 in Toronto – we hope to see all of you back again and many new faces as well!
