Whittle 4.3 provides you with more capabilities and more options for improving project value and your productivity. In this latest release, you will benefit from a streamlined push back creation process and new timesaving methods for outputting optimisation and economic analysis results.
We have also further refined the Whittle user experience by reducing the number of steps required to run common tasks and by enhancing the Help system. There are many other great updates for you to discover in Whittle 4.3, the most significant of which are described below.
Add the New NPV Practical Push Backs Module to Your Whittle Software
Realise the potential value for your deposit with push backs that target NPV
and mining width:
- Creates push backs that address both maximum NPV and minimum mining width requirements.
- Enables final pit decisions to be based on accurate NPV calculated from realistic mine schedules.
- Uses an automatic process to create push backs, eliminating manual iterations when selecting and modifying pitshells.
- Provides a consistent and repeatable process for creating push backs.
New and Updated Features Included in Your Whittle 4.3 Software
Manage results from multiple scenario options more easily:
- Export results from any or all scenarios in a single step.
- Node descriptions for this export are now the default file names.
Maintain spatial data and model rotation:
- Preserve rotation of surfaces in the XY plane.
- Produce individual mine result models for multi-mine projects.
- Retain original coordinates for multi-mine results and surfaces.
Access Whittle block value and financial parameters in external systems:
- Generate output for block attributes, including block value, in plain text, flat file format.
- Use Whittle output in external systems, such as Gemcom MineSched™, as targets for operational scheduling.
Build knowledge on mine planning techniques using the Whittle Help system:
- Find relevant information with updated navigation and organisation of topics.
